Dr. Angel Mesimer is excited to join the team at Animal Medical Center of Moss Bluff, where she looks forward to caring for pets and supporting the families who love them.

Originally from Richfield, North Carolina, Dr. Mesimer earned her undergraduate degree in Biology before attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her clinical year at Louisiana State University and has a strong passion for preventive care and client education. Her goal is to partner with pet owners to help their animals live long, healthy, and happy lives.

Outside of work, Dr. Mesimer enjoys spending time outdoors—especially hiking or boating with her three rescue dogs. Scout was adopted from a shelter where she once volunteered, and her other two pups, affectionately known as “coconut retrievers,” came from her time in Saint Kitts during veterinary school. She’s thrilled to now call this community home and can’t wait to build lasting bonds with the clients and pets of Moss Bluff.
